Here at A Personal Touch we are committed to helping you look and feel your best. We were all brought together by a common thread; we have all been touched by breast cancer, whether through our own individual battles or as care givers to our loved ones. Each of our Certified Fitters brings to the store their own personal area of expertise, providing patients with information on various after care necessities. Here at A Personal Touch we all share the same goals and understand how important getting the right garments can be.

“To get the best fit, you need to fit the person not the patient. “

As a registered nurse working for a breast doctor I deal with women who are going through a lot of difficult situations in their lives. So I decided to make one aspect of aftercare a little less difficult. At a Personal Touch Boutique we pride ourselves on being able to help patient’s look and feel like themselves again. Whether a patient is looking for prosthetics, wigs, or just information we have specialists who are experienced and able to answer any questions you may have. “I wanted to create a place where women could get information and garments they need in a place that feels like home.”

I am the co-owner of A Personal Touch Boutique, and I have been employed in the medical field for over 26 years. As a Radiological Technologist, I oversaw mammography programs and the quality assurance program. Currently I am a licensed massage therapist and have been at my own practice for over ten years.

In 1982, my mother was diagnosed with advanced stages of breast cancer, and had a radical mastectomy. The emotional trauma my mother and family went through was traumatic. Finding a place that could assist my mother in finding the best products for her during this
difficult time was very hard. I am proud to own a place that was designed with women in mind, to help them find the best possible products without feeling like they are doing it alone.

In our personal, yet professional atmosphere, we are able to answer any questions you might have as well as provide information on the latest technology for after breast surgery care. Designed to help women who are dealing with the after care of breast cancer surgery, we have expanded our products to include custom fit lymphedema garments as well as an assortment of wigs and headwear.
